The Blister

preparation: cut the metal sheet to the size that could fit in the two MDF template, fix it between two template the smaller wooden hammer is easier to use while we trying to beat the area near the boundary. the sharpened timber stick help use to deal with the small details on boundary. kept changing tools until the result is satisfactory . finished.

The Tray

same as every model we have done before, the first step always is cut measure and draw the guideline. choose the corner's radius, sand the timber panel use to fit in the blister and kept the back surface flat. cut the curve of the corner fix the three elements on table and start to use hammer to beat the metal sheet to make the 90 degree angle cut the left metal material on the corner to let the corner have the same depth as other boundaries finished

the torus

measure the approximate width of the torus curves, this preparation is the most important part of the process, it would guide us how to beat the metal at the right position. bend the metal sheet to fit on the round stake. Another key point of successfully make a torus, kept the  metal sheet attach on the round stake while beating the central curve. After finished the curve on the central axis,  we could begin to beat the two boundaries. Finished

Aluminum bowl

step one: draw the radius on the metal sheet. step two: use hammer begin to hack the circular metal sheet from the outer circle, while hacking the metal, kept rotating the metal. step  three:  after finishing the step two, use the English whale smooth the surface.(after that  I have used some sand paper to make the surface more smooth.  CONCLUSION: key points of making a bowl: 1.when making a curved surface like a bowl kept the same strength to beat the metal each time and rotate it at the same frequency. 2.use sandpaper to polish the surface would makes it looks much better. 3.While choosing the radius of English while, choose the one with a curved edge, otherwise, it would produce plenty of linear markes on the bowl.
